I should probably be ashamed that I find this release from Toms more compelling than most actual candidates, but that’s a symptom of my general political disaffection (and, of course, my rampant footwear fanaticism). As it happens I’ve been working on a campaign in my area since about the beginning of July (hence the complete drop-off in blogging) and it’s been a pretty intense few months–with the last big push to the end finally upon us. I figure: as long as I’m on my feet, my shoes may as well be on message, right? Left, actually.
