Dress Code » Green Pleats
Ok, so, I don’t know quite how this happened, but I seem to have missed out on Girl Scout cookies this year. I know–not exactly a tragedy, but lamentable nonetheless. What’s worse though, is that I didn’t even realize it until I started typing up this post–which leaves me wondering whether the dearth of door-to-door sales-children in my neighborhood is as great a thing as I thought it was.*
Back to the point: I’m pretty sure I haven’t seen so many green pleated skirts since Girl Scout Camp (nice segue, right?), but I can guarantee that this season’s offers are the far more fashionable bunch, and I kind of really want, well, all of them. Not kidding–I look at these skirts and each is sufficiently individual to me that it’s coexistence with the others could easily be justified in my closet. Not kidding (that made total sense in my head). I’ve also sort of cheated, because what you’re actually looking at are three pleated skirts (2, 3, 4) and one that’s just gathered (1). But it’s my favorite of the bunch, so I don’t care. At least I’m honest, right?
*No, I’m not really wondering; I do not in any way, shape, or form wish that I lived in the vicinity of solicitous youngsters. And if I really wanted cookies, I’d do what everyone else does and buy them from the lazy kids’ table in front of the grocery store so I could eat them while shopping & not go overboard buying expensive health food because I’m hungry. Wins all around, eh?
Why not share the love?
